A questão é sobre pressão hidrostática. Pressão hidrostática só depende da profundidade, não importa se o navio está se movendo. É igual a profundidade X densidade X forca gravitacional. O Principio de Bernoulli tem muitas simplificações possíveis, e nem todas elas se aplicam ao exemplo do PNA. Quando voce ler “hydrostatic pressure” no PNA, quer dizer p.g.h apenas (pg 173 – propulsão).

Bernoulli : a energia do fluxo não se altera em qualquer ponto em uma linha de fluxo (streamline).
Parece simples, mas não é. Foge ao contexto do curso.
Eu vou na verdade mudar o feedback da questão, utilizando apenas o texto do PNA para explicá-la.

Vai ficar assim: “Near the nose, the pressure is increased above the hydrostatic pressure, along the middle of the body the pressure is decreased below it and at the stern it is again increased. The velocity distribution past the hull, by Bernoulli’s Law, will be the inverse of the pressure distribution—along the midportion it will be greater than the speed of advance V and in the region of bow and stern it will be less.” pg 02
